🚧 Construction Notice:
The resort’s A/C replacement project is scheduled to begin in January 2026.
If your selected dates are available, your unit will have working central A/C.
Guests may hear intermittent weekday noise from nearby units (8 AM–5 PM). No weekend work is planned unless delays occur.

Repairs to the hot tubs are scheduled to begin on Monday, February 23, 2026. To safely complete this work, the hot tubs and wading pool will be temporarily closed, and the surrounding area will be secured with safety barriers.

The Hokulani pool is expected to remain open, with minor adjustments made to reduce water splashing into the work zone. As part of site preparation, the Hokulani pool water level will be lowered by approximately 3-4 inches to help maintain a safe working environment while still allowing pool use.

Repairs are anticipated to take approximately three weeks, with an expected completion around March 16, 2026. Actual timing may vary depending on site conditions such as the weather.

Once repair work is completed at the hot tubs, it will be refilled, water chemistry will be balanced, and the hot tub will be reopened for use.

The beach fronting Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that affect its size and accessibility. During fall and winter, the sand may recede, but typically returns in spring and summer.

Our HOA, the County of Maui, and the State of Hawaiʻi are actively working to restore Kahana Bay. If direct beach access is unavailable, there is public access within a 5-minute walk.
(Photos from January 2024 show usable beach, but this cannot be guaranteed year-round.)

🌊 BEACH INFORMATION:
The beach fronting Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that can affect beach size and accessibility.
During fall and winter, sand may recede, making the beach narrow or temporarily inaccessible. It typically returns in spring and summer.
When direct access is limited, a public beach access point is available within a 5-minute walk. Our HOA, the County of Maui, and the State of Hawaiʻi are working diligently to restore Kahana Bay to its full potential.
(Photos taken 1/16/23 show usable beach, but this cannot be guaranteed year-round.)
