🚧 CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:

A number of sinkholes have appeared on the property which restricts access to the lawn in some areas. These areas are cordoned off for guest safety. In 2026, repairs to the seawall will begin and will continue into 2027. The work will involve excavation and seawall reinforcement work with heavy equipment. The ambiance of Hale Mahina will be affected but we will try to maintain access to the beach area on the southside of the property. Check back for updates on the progress and view the webcam on Hale Mahina’s website for a real-time picture of the work.

Due to Maui’s rural location, you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaiʻi.
The HOA performs regular pest control, but insects and lizards are part of island life.
Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected — contact us if you notice more than normal activity, and we’ll work with the HOA to assist. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.

Hawaiʻi’s tropical environment supports small island wildlife such as geckos, ants, and roosters. Despite regular professional pest control, these are part of everyday island life.
Any contact with such pests does not constitute a breach of agreement or qualify for refunds or adjustments.

Honokowaii is a wonderful neighborhood on the Westside of the island with shops, farmers market, food truck park, restaurants, grocery store, and beach park.

Updated top floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom beachfront condo. Ocean views, plenty of space for the family, and perfect location. *The entire complex of Hale Mahina does NOT have AC. This condo has ceiling fans in every room and an ocean breeze almost everyday* The layout: Common area: This loft style condo features an open floor plan consisting of a fully remodeled equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, Smart TV with cable, pull out sofa sleeper, ceiling fan, work desk, and extra sitting chairs. Loft bedroom: Comfortable King size bed, closet space, and en suite bathroom. This bathroom features a custom walk in shower and single sink vanity with plenty of storage. The in unit washer/dryer is also located here. Downstairs bedroom: This bedroom features a very comfortable queen size bed, ceiling fan, and plenty of clothing storage. Downstairs bathroom: Updated walk in shower, toilet, and single sink vanity with plenty of storage. Common area: This condo features an open floor plan consisting of a fully equipped kitchen, work desk, Smart TV with cable, pull out sofa sleeper, and extra sitting chairs. Lanai: Dining table with 6 chairs and a sitting chair. There is beach gear for your use which includes beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler in the closet near the front door. Stay Aloha provides a generous essentials starter kit. This includes laundry, luxury organic bath, and kitchen essentials. We do not supply extra. There is an Aloha welcome gift for you upon arrival as well. Np parking or resort fees. We do have a $50 Damage Insurance Fee that covers up to $1500 in damage for our guests. Accidents happen and we have you covered. This area offers restaurants, beach gear rentals, farmers market, and little shops all within walking distance. Close drive to Kapalua, Kaanapali, and Lahaina town this perfectly located on the westside. Hale Mahina has elevators, free parking, and is one of the best locations in the Honokowaii area. PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular professional pest control services for pests such as ants, roaches, and rodents however they cannot be completely controlled in this part of the world. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
