Due to Maui’s rural location, you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko.
Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaiʻi — please don’t harm them. The HOA performs regular professional pest control, but insects, rodents, and lizards are part of tropical life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you notice more than normal activity — we’ll work with the HOA to assist.

Updated condo with all the comforts, amenities, and the ocean. The layout: Bedroom: King size bed, Smart TV with cable, keep split AC unit, oversized ceiling fan, dresser, nightstands w/usb chargers, and closet space. Bathroom: Walk in shower, toilet, and single vanity sink with storage. Organic luxury bath products courtesy of Stay Aloha. Common area: We have an open floor plan consisting of a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar(2 seats), bistro/work table for 2 people, large smart TV with cable, sofa sleeper, and comfortable chair. Washer/dryer is located in the hallway closest and we supply pods. Beach gear is available for your use in the closet(chairs, cooler, and umbrella). There is a split AC unit in living room and an oversized fan. Lanai: Pub table for 2 and 2 sitting chairs. Stay Aloha provides a generous essentials starter kit. This includes laundry, luxury organic bath, and kitchen essentials. We do not drop extra. There is an Aloha welcome gift for you upon arrival as well. There is stair drop in access to the water for snorkeling or there is useable beach is just a short walk next door. This unit offers plenty of beach gear for your use. Papakea is a true resort with every amenity you’ll need to make amazing Maui memories. A Resort fee from Aston of $25 day is to be paid at the front desk upon check in for wifi, parking, and key card for entry. All occupants pay this, even owners. We do have a $50 Damage Insurance Fee that covers up to $1500 in damage for our guests. Accidents happen and we have you covered. *PLEASE NOTE* The entire Papakea Resort will be going through a plumbing overall project next year sometime. This does effect water pressure sometimes in the unit. All this centrally located in a great area within walking distance to shops and dining. PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular professional pest control services for pests such as ants, roaches, and rodents however they cannot be completely controlled in this part of the world. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. *We make no guarantee that properties around to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic, or other guests. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this rental or give guest any right to any refund, or rental adjustment.
