While Hololani sits oceanfront, usable beach access varies by season and tide. Sandbags are in place to protect the shoreline; guests can find accessible sandy beaches nearby within a few minutes’ walk or drive.

  • Damage Insurance Fee: $100 which covers up to $1,500 in accidental damage.
    Accidents happen — we have you covered. No damage deposit is collected.

🏨 HOTEL ZONED: This property is Hotel Zoned and NOT in danger of the possible upcoming short-term rental ban.

💨 NO AIR CONDITIONING: There is no A/C at this resort. Ceiling fans are provided in every room, and the West Maui trade winds help keep the unit cool and comfortable year-round.

🐓🦎 PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS:
Due to Maui’s rural location, you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular pest control, but some insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.

☀️ HAWAIʻI CLIMATE:
Hawaiʻi’s tropical environment supports a variety of island wildlife, including geckos, ants, and occasional roosters. Despite regular professional pest control, these are part of normal island living. Our units are carefully cleaned and inspected, and any contact with such pests does not constitute a breach of agreement or qualify for refund or adjustment.
